Welcome
Good health starts with a healthy diet as your body depends on a constant supply of nutrients. Whilst mounting evidence links nutrition to health and life expectancy, some of the 'advice' can be confusing or conflicting. Don't be put off, help is at hand! Healthy eating is about balance, enjoyment and what's right for you as an individual. If you have a specific health concern/condition, need to lose weight for good or simply want to look and feel as good as you can, read more about Nutritional Therapy and the consultation process.
About Carol Harrison

Carol first became aware of the impact of nutrition over twenty years ago when a family member developed serious health problems. This interest developed and eventually led to three years of formal study, culminating in a BSc (Hons) degree in Nutritional Therapy.
Prior to this, Carol spent nearly two decades working in the IT industry, so is well equipped to help you implement her advice in a practical and realistic way. Her initial approach is about improving what you do, not making life miserable or difficult.
Carol's main clinical practice is based in Esher, Surrey and she also sees patients at The Group Practice in Kensington. In addition to clinical work, Carol works with weight loss groups, gives corporate talks, writes magazine columns and has also lectured and mentored students at The Centre for Nutrition Education.
Carol regularly attends post-graduate seminars so that her clients can benefit from the most recent research into cutting-edge treatments and tests.
Carol is a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy and is registered with the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Therapists.
